Come out and see us at the Lorain County Fair, where you might catch me

wearing a beard of gentle Honeybees!

I often assist homeowners around the area by removing swarms of bees

that have made a home somewhere they weren't wanted.

I maintain anywhere between 20 to 50 hives throughout Lorain County, providing

valuable pollination and harvesting the many beneficial items the hives produce.

Unfortunately, not everyone knows the difference between the Honeybee and a Yellowjacket.

Many times the two are mistaken for eachother. In the picture below, the one on the left is the yellowjacket.

They are carnivorious and in the wasp family. They are often seen hunting around trash cans and picnics.

On the right is the gentle, productive pollinator known as the Honeybee.

Everyone has heard of the Queen Bee..Here she is, surrounded by her attendants.
